How to start saving money?
First, join the Credit Union. It takes just a few minutes at our office, 20 Pocklingtons Walk, Leicester, or at any of our collection points around the town.
You can pay in cash at our head office or at our local collection points. You can also pay by cheque, standing order or payroll deduction order. You can even pay your benefit payments directly into your account.
Can I withdraw my savings?
You can withdraw your savings at any time at our head office or ask for a cheque to be posted to you.
Will be my savings secure?
Absolutely. Through the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, member’s savings up to £2,000 are 100% protected and on the next £35,000 90% protected, the same as any other Bank, Building Society, or approved financial institution.
What makes us ethical?
- Clockwise is a co-operative run for members by members.
- Any profits made by Clockwise are returned to the members in the form of dividend on savings or re-invested into the Credit Union. This means any profits made stay in the community and do not go to outside investors.
